5 Things I Am Loving This Second

By admin

I’m a woman which means that my opinions are allowed to change on a daily, no an hourly, basis.

It’s one of the perks we get.

And my opinions do change, a lot. Something I love one week, might not seem so great the following week. And something that I’m not crazy about today, may be the best thing since sliced bread tomorrow.

That’s life.

But for now, these are a few of my latest loves. I enjoy reading these kind of posts from other bloggers, so I hope you’ve been enjoying them too!

To make it simple, all of the loves that are items are linked to Amazon (who else things Prime is the best?).

Oh, and all of the products I purchased with my on money. And as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own. I really do just love this stuff!

What I Am Loving

Gnarly Whey Protein

I have been using vegan protein for years. I still adore SunWarrior.

But several of my clients have tried it and haven’t been as big of fans. I guess it’s an acquired taste? I don’t know. But I felt bad and wanted to be able to suggest other options. More specifically, a high quality, organic whey protein.

After researching, I came across Gnarly. It’s awesome. It’s easy to digest, taste delicious, low in sugar/carbs and blends extremely well.

Oh, and the kind people at Gnarly may be putting together a fun package for one of you fine readers! Expect a giveaway soon.

Californication

Our latest obsession on NetFlix. Have you watched this show?

For the past year, we’ve been crazy about X-Files but Dan needed a little break from Fox Mulder & Dana Scully. To help keep me happy (I love David Duchovny) he picked Californication.

It’s pretty rawnchy but we love it none the less. Plus the episodes are just 30 minutes so it’s great for a short mental break at night before bed.

Kettlebell Wrist Guards

These aren’t new to me at all, but several of you have asked about them since I wear them in all of my kettlebell videos.

I adore these things and give them credit for allowing me to go heavier. I have skin that bruises very easily, so having these guards to help when the kettlebells are applying pressure during presses (most often the bruise maker) has helped so much.

Dan has been thinking of getting a pair too. I received these as a gift from him when we first started doing kettlebells.

I thing I do want to mention though… I don’t recommend complete beginners use guards because you’ll learn better form without them. You’ll get tired of the bells hitting your wrist and work to correct the issue. Moves like snatches and cleans shouldn’t hurt!

Carrie Underwood Opi “Color Me Country”

I go through stages with my nails. Sometimes I take the time to make them look good, other times, I don’t care.

Lately, I have cared and I LOVE this Opi color. It’s fun and flirt. I used to buy the really cheap nail polishes, but I finally decided to see if there was a difference in quality, and there definitely is.

As someone that is always working with their hands, and normally chips nails within an hour of doing them, I was amazed to see this last and look great for a full week!

Plus how cute is the name “Color Me Country”?

Tina Stephens

A few weeks ago I went shopping with my mom and found a store that claimed to be a “one size fits all”. I was intrigued and very skeptical.

Naturally we went in and tried on a few pieces.

I fell in love! The material is soft, silky and extremely flattering. It’s has something to do with the thickness, it’s just the perfect thickness to be breathable without showing every single bulge and flaw.

And the prices, not so bad either.

I walked out with my entire anniversary outfit <– on Instagram!

Willow Downtown

Remember last week when I asked for opinions regarding my hair color? Well, I read them all and ended up going with thick red and copper highlights.

I haven’t shared a picture yet because to be honest, I’ve had it pulled back all week <— downfall of being a trainer.

But I love it! On Saturday morning, I walked into Willow Salon to see Katelyn. She immediately put me to ease and we decided what course of action to take.

She took the time to get it just how I wanted. Seriously. The first go around wasn’t quite as “bold” as I had pictured, so she redid the entire thing.

The salon was clean (it was my first time there), the service perfect, and the end result was just what I had imagined. Thanks Katelyn, see you in a few weeks!

So those are the things I am loving right now! Do you have any great new finds recently?

What are you loving right now?
