Kettlebells: Grow Booty, Grow Butt Workout!

Can we talk about my tush for a moment?

When I was a teenager, I nicknamed my own butt “Flatty Patty”. My parents used to joke that my entire rear end was smaller than one of their hands.

Yea, yea. Small butt, I get it.

Over the past year, I have seen some awesome changes in my arms, my chest, and especially my shoulders. They are stronger and toner than they ever have been. In fact, my mom called me the other day while she was out Christmas shopping to ask if I had gone up in shirt sizes because of my arms. Ha.

She didn’t ask about my pant size. Why? Because my butt has proven to be very much like my personality…

Stubborn.

That doesn’t mean I’m going to give up on it. Quite the opposite. I’ve set some goals, laid out a plan and I’m going to be hitting my tush hard.

This workout was butt workout #1 of last week. It was tough and by the end, I felt as if I should have had a Kardashian rear. Sadly, it didn’t round and lift, and grow from this single workout. But, with persistence, determination, and a few pep talks to my butt, it will.

If you’re butt isn’t screaming at the end, I don’t know what else to give you. Perhaps a workout that contains no other move but deadlifts?

Or maybe that’s just your sign to up your kettlebell weight. Yes, that’s what it is.

So that looks cool right? Well, let’s make it come to life.

No this isn’t a YouTube video. I know it’s been forever since I’ve filmed one. We’ve been so slammed trying to finish a few projects for the NEW FitWomensWeekly that Dan has had to push editing and filming to the side.

We’re hoping to be able to return with the show next week! For now, please settle for my own video. I know I’m no Dan when it comes to editing, but at least you get the workout. And anytime kettlebells are involved, I never want to neglect showing actual exercises.
