Hillarys Triathlon 2011 Bikesure TriSeries

The fifth and final race in the 2010 – 2011 Bikesure Triathlon series was held at Hillarys on Sunday the 10th of April 2011. A record number of participants (over 1200) took part in final race of the most successful TriSeries ever. It was a fitting way to end the tenth series which has exceded all previous participation records. The Pure Blonde Pursuit race was won by Paul MacKay who managed to end Sean O’Neill’s reign as the triathlon King of Western Australia and take out the overall series victory. In the women’s event, Katrina Mercer repeated her earlier victory in the series at the Hillarys One race. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the event and remember, its never too early to start training for next year’s series.
