Go For The Gold Olympic Workout: 6 Exercise Circuit To Feel Like An Olympian

Remember yesterday when I told you about my very graceful face plant? Yea, well, I did it while I was rehearsing the new workout video below.
It wasn’t that the exercise was too hard, I just goofed and got my footing wrong. Falls happen.
Don’t worry, I didn’t let the fall keep me from making it happen. This workout is just way too much fun and there was nothing, not even falling flat on my face and throwing my back out, that would keep me from sharing it with you.
Just incase you’re new to Lifting Revolution, I am very excited about the games this year. And now that the countdown is on (they begin next Friday) I’m like a giddy little girl waiting for Santa Clause! For some reason I thought they started THIS Friday, nope I was wrong. Hate when that happens.
When I was brainstorming fun ideas for a workout, of course I was naturally inspired by the Olympics. We should all feel like athletes, even if we’re super uncoordinated (like a girl that trips over imaginary hurdles) or feel just plain silly. Who cares, it’s fun!
These 6 exercises are all inspired by sports in the games.
“Go For The Gold” Workout
Complete each exercise for 45 seconds before moving to the next with little or no rest. Complete the circuit 2-3 times through.
Exercises:
- Archery Pulls (Right Side)
- Archery Pulls (Left Side)
- Lunge x2 Long Jump
- Swimmers (back stroke)
- Squat Volleyball Spikes
- Band Boxing
- Hurdle Sprints
Speaking of miles…
My Nike GPS has suddenly stopped syncing to my computer! Has anyone had a problem with this? I don’t know if it is due to a recent upgrade and my old computer or what the heck. I guess I will be paying Nike a visit. Ugh!
