Bronze: Women’s Team Pursuit

The Canadian team of Tara Whitten, Laura Brown, and Stephanie Roorda qualified for the bronze medal final at the Beijing World Cup with the third fastest time. They took off over 3 seconds in the final setting a new Canadian record of 3:26.723 to win the Bronze medal. They finish the World Cup season ranked 4th in the series and will now focus on preparing for the World Championships at the end of March. Canadian sprinter Travis Smith did the commentating.
