Dream BIG: The Dream Shuffle Workout

By admin

Seeing that we stayed in our own little dream home next door to the real HGTV Dream Home, I couldn’t pass up the chance to utilize the gorgeous space and film a workout.

Some may thing I am crazy for wanting to film workouts while on vacation, but I was excited. The second my feet touched the warm boards of the back porch, I knew I would be doing a workout out there.

Plus, I really didn’t want to skip a workout so I got to knock off two birds with one stone.

This workout is 1/3 of a longer, total body workout. It’s perfect by itself… short and sweet and is a serious arm burner, but the ENTIRE workout will be posted up on Fit Womens Weekly next week.

As for this one, your goal should be to complete it 2 rounds through as quickly as possible. No messing around. Set a timer and push yourself from start to finish.

I did… and I was still sore 2 days later!

All you need for this upper-lower body blast is a chair of some sort.

I don’t recommend using a lounge chair like this one though… My hands kept falling through the frame. Not. Cool.

My Dream Home

Staying in such a beautiful home definitely made for some fun conversations. We kept asking one another, what components would we love to include in our dream home?

For me, all I really want is a nice spacious family area. I want a kitchen that opens up to the family room and dining room. I want natural light (meaning lots of windows) and a gas stove.

Gas stove? Yes… I have a glass top stove now and I hate it. I hate the clean up and have always wanted a nice pretty gas stove to cook dinners on. Call me weird, but that along with a claw tub are my two biggest desires for my dream home.

I want… I want… I want. The truth is, as much as I want, there is nothing wrong with our condo and I definitely don’t want a huge home (it takes me 3 hours to clean our condo!). I am blessed, but it doesn’t hurt to dream either.

Keeping the dream going…

The view from where we stayed didn’t hurt either. It was so wonderful to sit with the fall morning temperatures outside and sip on coffee and my pancake (yesterday kicked off our wheat free diet so I enjoyed several last week).

Answer Me:

If you could live in your dream home where would it be &…

What’s one feature that it would include?

As for location, I would love a home either in Kiawah (the Spanish Moss is too beautiful) or a vacation home in Colorado!
