Finding Flow Kettlebell Workout
By admin
I am so glad you guys liked last week’s kettlebell workout! It was a tough one!
Because you know that kettlebells and I go together like peas and carrots, we’re going to keep the trend going this week (probably every week, to be honest).
This workout is so much fun! And VERY different from “traditional” kettlebell workouts.
Who likes traditional?
You’ll need right around 15 minutes for this workout.
Your goal is complete the entire circuit (right side & left side = 1 round) TWO TIMES.
Sounds so simple, right?
Oh, just two times! Sweet…
{Insert evil laugh}
It’s tough. I promise. And you’ll love it.
Though, by all means, if you want to up the antics, go for 3 rounds!
Enough with the build-up…
Finding Flow Kettlebell Workout
Quick overview:
For kettlebell size, I would choose a weight a smidge lighter than what you normally get-up with. You’ll be doing lots of presses and those shoulders will get fatigued fast. Trust me!
The goal is to not set the kettlebell down at all during the get-up circuit.
- Start off doing a get-up. Once at the kneeling position perform 5 clean + presses.
- Finish with the press, and complete the get-up to stand.
- Complete 5 Lunges, 10 Sling Shots, 5 Clean + Press
- Finish the get-up to return to the ground.
- Perform 5 x 5 HEAVY Swings. After each set of 5, place the kettlebell down, shake the hands out and repeat.
- Complete the entire workout on the other side!
Let’s take a look at these exercises…
