Friendly Friday: SizzleFish & Amazing Fish Recipe Roundup
By admin
Happy Friday!
This week flew by, and I can’t complain since that means we’re just a day away from watching some Clemson football! Go Tigers!
Are you a college football fan? Who’s your team?
While tailgating recipes are flying around the internet faster than a speeding bullet, I am going to spotlight a different type of food…
Fish
What brought on my sudden obsession with fish?
It’s not really sudden to be honest, fish has been a weekly staple in our home since I stopped being a vegan.
The protein, the Omega-3s, the amazing flavor… it’s just too good for my body and tastebuds to not be obsessed with it.
But my love may have increased just a slight amount last week when I received my first package of SizzleFish.
What’s SizzleFish?
I live in a coastal town, so I am really (like REALLY) picky where my fish comes from. Aside from Salmon, I don’t eat fish at restaurants not on the coast. I love fresh fish, end of story.
So if I am eating SizzleFish like it’s going out of style, then that’s a good sign. I refuse to eat crappy fish and have a fear of some weird seafood poisoning.
So that’s it really… high quality, lots of variety, tons of flavor and loaded with wholesome nutrition… My fish passion is out of control.
And so is my recipe search.
I don’t want to be boring and just toss some Old Bay on the fillets before grilling, baking or pan frying… so I’ve been searching around for some recipiration (get it recipe + inspiration, ha!).
Here are a few that I have found thanks to the lovely development of Pinterest!

Catfish Help?
We received a few fillets of catfish, however I am not a huge catfish fan (I know hard to believe being from the south). It’s just too “fishy” for me.
So if you have any recommendations on how I should prepare it, please let me know! Thanks friends!
The best fish I have ever had was a baked flounder at Jasmine’s on Kiawah Island. It was AMAZING… so good that we are going back to the restaurant for our anniversary but I don’t want to get it again out of fear it won’t be as good as I remember. Does that make sense?
