Friendly Friday: The Breast Edition
By admin
It’s Friday! I couldn’t be more excited because a. Dan and I are going to our first Kentucky Derby party tomorrow and b. it’s been a wonderful week but I’m excited to sit back with a glass of wine this evening.
I’ve earned it. And so have you.
I’ll will have the entire interview up early next week, but on Wednesday I had the opportunity to talk with a women who is not only gorgeous and fit but has been a role model of mine for years. The inspirational Gabrielle Reece.
I can’t wait to share the whole interview with you as I know you’ll love her as much as I did.
Who knew she almost went to Clemson? Go Tigers!
(Dan went to Clemson, and it was Winthrop’s “sister college”)
For today though, it’s Friendly Friday time. Where I share with you some of the interesting articles and posts that I came upon this week.
Because we’re all friends, I encourage you to share your blogs or interesting things you found as well in the comments below.
NYTimes Blog: The Problem Of Breast Pain In Women Who Exercise
Breast… we love them and we hate them. Those that have large ones, want smaller ones and those of us who have small tatas, want larger ones.
Just like most things in life, we want what we can’t have (unless you want to shell out $ 5000).
But what about the pains of breasts, literally the tenderness and aches that comes with them. Can they affect your day to day workouts? And with that, can they affect your results?
That’s what Gretchen Reynolds talks about in the above post. Find out the truth about… boobs and fitness.
Little Girl In The Big World: Best Sports Bra Review
I’ve been hearing a lot about Moving Comfort, throughout the blogger world. Though this is a post that Meghan put up in February, it’s still relevant today and offers a great review on the popular brand.
It’s important to know that a sports bra isn’t just a sports bra and it might be time to move away from the Target ones. After all those girls can bounce up to 7 inches! Make sure you show them love when you’re running around.
Sensual Appeal: Living A Life Filled With Joy And Self Love
I am a big fan of motivational and self help posts. Being mentally strong, like being physically strong, takes practice and work. Reading inspiring stories and interviews is one way to make us stronger, implementing what we learn is the next step and the important one.
Thanks Kammie for the interview with Mara Glatzel, a life coach. She sheds some light on how to love ourselves a bit more and why we deserve it.
Read it, it’s good.
Even though it’s not directly boob related, it’s an important issue for all women and therefore qualifies in my tata-theme today.
What’s your favorite sports bra?
Do your girls ever stop you from working out?
I am quite a flat chested lady, so I am fortunate that I can hold them down in place pretty easily and, knock on wood, they haven’t gotten in the way of things.
