Ironman Lanzarote 2011 – Swim Start
By admin
Video of the Ironman Lanzarote 2011 Swim Start from the water. A mad dash into the sea! The Pros start only 15m ahead of the age groupers who sprint in behind them. The swim was led out by an age grouper. Rachel Joyce led out on the women’s race and carried that lead on to the bike. Swim times looked good this year – conditions favourable perhaps. Currents in previous days would have helped swimmers back to the swim start for the second lap.
