This Just In: Blondes Have More Fun
By admin
TGIF. Can I get an amen?!
This week has been so slow with the anticipation of the holiday week. Oh, and knowing that in just a few days I’ll be sipping a glass of champagne in front of a roaring fire in the mountains doesn’t help.
I’ve mentioned it but haven’t really gone into detail but next week Dan and I are packing up and hitting the road for a romantic Christmas getaway in the mountains. We’re going back to the same area we went hiking during the summer because we loved it so much and felt we didn’t put a dent in the trails.
This will be our first private Christmas together and I am looking forward to it. This is a picture of the cabin a few winters ago, and I am keeping my fingers crossed we’ll get some flurries!
There will be no rushing, no worrying, just relaxing, wine, good food and of course amazing company.
The only thing I’ll really miss? My Christmas tree. I am having a hard time accepting the fact I won’t have a tree. But we are bringing lights and decorations to deck the halls as much as possible.
Something I won’t miss?
Red hair.
Good-Bye Red
Yes, it was short lived. And to be honest, I really didn’t mind the red hair but I guess the old saying is true…
Blondes have more fun. Or maybe it’s just me that feels more comfortable.
I missed my blonde and didn’t realize how much it was tied to my businesses. Ha.
We are in the works for a blog redesign and wanted to get some new pictures (professional) of me, except I don’t want to be red on the blog. I knew it wasn’t going to be a long term thing, so why I didn’t think about this, I have no idea.
It would be weird to pull up the blog every day to see a red headed Taylor looking back. That’s not me. It was a temporary me. Does that make sense?
Anyways… it was fun while it lasted but I’m a blonde at heart and it feels freaking great to be back. It’s time for this blonde to get to work, lots to do before Tuesday!
