After winning improbable back-to-back golds she walks into London the favorite over Ukrainian Olga Kharlan and Russian Sophia Velikaia. Zagunis has quickly become the face of a sport few paid attention to prior to her success. Road Cycling: Womens and Men’s Time Trial American Kristin Armstrong looks to defend her Beijing gold in the time trial, but will get stiff competition from compatriot upstart Evelyn Stevens. On the mens side, Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins and fellow Brit Mark Cavendish look to rebound from a disappointing finish in the road race.
