Victoria’s Whitfield Vancouver’s triathlon champ

Simon Whitfield won the 2007 Vancouver BG Triathlon World Cup on June 10. He beat American Andy Potts by two seconds in the 1.5 km swim, 40 km bike and 10 km run. New Zealand’s Samantha Warriner won the women’s elite event.
